In September 2019, WKYC launched a new brand focused on helping our viewers live fun, full and fearless lives. Our goal was to set our product apart in a bold way. At the center of the project was a new logo and graphical look. As marketing and brand producer, I was tasked with envisioning and creating animations and other marketing assets that worked within the new look.
Color and typography are two important elements of this brand. Inviting pastel colors are mixed in various ways, as are serif and script fonts. Our marketing team’s work instantly became more consistent once clear visual standards were established.
